It's common for a PDF to come out with pages in the wrong orientation, usually because of a document scanned sideways or upside down. Rotating the PDF fixes this without needing to reprint or rescan the document.
Unlike other tools that make you pick an angle blindly, here you see the real page before deciding, and you can rotate each file in a batch to a different angle, since not every PDF in a batch is misaligned the same way.
You can rotate multiple PDFs at once, the result is a ZIP with one rotated PDF (or unchanged, if you didn't rotate that particular file) for each one submitted. This kind of misalignment is common in documents scanned through an automatic document feeder (ADF), where landscape pages sometimes come out rotated 90° relative to the portrait pages in the same batch.
