How it works

1

Upload your image

Select a JPG or PNG photo from your device.

2

Adjust the crop area

Drag the edges or the center of the box over the real image until you've selected exactly the part you want to keep.

3

Download the result

Only the selected area is saved, in the same format as the original image.

Cropping an image is useful for removing unwanted edges, focusing on a specific detail of the photo, adjusting framing before posting to social media, or preparing an image for a fixed-ratio space (like a banner or profile picture).

Unlike tools that ask for pixel coordinates, here you see the real image and drag the crop area directly over it, updating live, no need to guess numbers.

Some sizes come up often: a square profile photo (1:1) for social media, a LinkedIn cover (1584×396), or simply removing the gray border that scanners and camera apps leave when photographing a document. Since the selection is freeform, no fixed presets, you measure visually against the actual image instead of memorizing exact dimensions for every platform.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop to any aspect ratio?

Yes, the crop area is completely free, drag the edges to whatever shape and size you need.

Does cropping reduce image quality?

No. Cropping only removes the areas outside the selection, without recompressing or altering the quality of the rest of the image.

Which formats are supported?

JPG/JPEG and PNG. The cropped file comes out in the same format as the image you uploaded.

Can I crop multiple images at once?

Right now the tool processes one image at a time, to allow precise visual adjustment of the crop area for each one.
